When you're hurt . . .

When you're hurt
embrace it
accept it
learn form it
believe the hurt will pass
understand that it is a part of life

It could be anything:
a word
a sentence
a phrase
a memory
a regret
a feeling

When you're hurt
allow yourself
the truth
that you have been.

Don't run from it.
Don't ignore it.
Don't assume that it isn't true.
Don't try to hide it.
Just accept that 
the one that can heal you
is you.
