Disney Descendants Polyvore Sets for Halloween

In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to do a set for each of the kids who were rotten to the core:

Mal's outfit is a simple dress with a black leather jacket. Her earrings are the exact product used in the film, and I used her icon for the background.

More details here:
Evie is a fan of mirrors, so her look, a coronation dress costume and a few details (the blue hair and nail polish) was easy to organise. The necklace is a fan made product on etsy, and the tiara and bracelet are random finds on Polyvore.
More details here:

Carlos didn't even have a costume! So I used a simple color palatte from his formal outfit in the film. I added the stuffed dog for a prop, and used a black and white background for obvious reasons.
More details here:

Jay's outfit was a color pallate of red, blue and yellow. I threw in the Aladdin lamp necklace for a signature prop.
More details here:

These sets were a lot of fun to make, and I hope I did each character justice. I might do a set for the Auradon Prep kids in the future. If you have any requests, let me know. :)

Love in the Avatar world- A Tribute to Two Great TV Series

"When love is real, it finds a way." - Avatar the Last Airbender

"The Spirit World is very mysterious, but so is love." - The Legend of Korra

Because these TV shows have been a huge part of my life, I wanted to make something to remember them by. Mike and Bryan are amazing storytellers, and they know how to weave life lessons and wisdom into their tales.
Avatar the Last Airbender was a show that taught me so much about growing up, and Aang's journey from a goofy kid to the Avatar the world was waiting for has inspired me to go on my own journey and trust that things will fall into place.
The Legend of Korra was a nostalgic show that was very different from Avatar the Last Airbender. The content was darker, and Korra was a very different character compared to Aang. But her journey, from expecting the world to work her way to understanding that she was one piece of a major puzzle was a powerful story and a step forward in the world of entertainment.

Thank You Mike and Bryan for these incredible stories. I hope there are many more to come.

Lightning Farron Polyvore set

Due to my excitement over the near release of Lightning Returns, I decided to do a Polyvore set for Light, and I'll probably make a Hope Estheim set next.
I added the lightning bolt earrings for obvious reasons, but the set is actually based off her new look in Lightning Returns, with the exception of the red cape from the first game. The leather arm band is one of her trademarks, and I wanted to include a picture of her from the first game, to reflect the human she once was.

Miho Polyvore Set: Fox Rain

I've been watching Gu Family Book lately, but I also remembered another Korean drama about a Gumiho. I loved Miho's outfit in the series, and I finally found the pieces to complete the look. I bought the dress at Charlotte Russe, but I'm afraid the plaid shirt was more complicated than I realized. I finally found one at a thrift store, and now I can cosplay as Miho anytime!

In the set, the white dress and plaid shirt make up Miho's outfit. I added the fairy tale book for the Little Mermaid reference. The perfume bottle represents the one Miho kept her sacred orb in. The fox ring was just too cute to pass up, and the flats seemed to fit her character. I added the rain for obvious reasons :)

Jane Bennet Polyvore set

I made this set dedicated to Jane Bennet from the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. I added the snickerdoodles for obvious reasons, and the mug based on Jane's famous quote "Everyone deserves tea." I based this set off the picture below and the episode where Jane wears this dress. Enjoy :)

A Visit to the Library Polyvore set for Belle

I found a fanart of Belle on tumblr and loved the style so much that I created a Polyvore set! Unfortunately, I couldn't find the leather satchel with the rose on it like the artwork. I named the Polyvore set after the picture.

China Girl from Oz Polyvore set

I really loved China Girl's outfit and her character was amazing in the film. I added the teacup and teapot because that's what the village of China Town looked like in Oz.

Polyvore set for Paula from Cybele's Secret

I made a set for Paula from Cybele's Secret. As an accent to the story, I added a statue of Cybele, and a book to compliment Paula's character. The earrings reminded me of the headscarf  that she wears on the cover picture. Her signature color is blue.

Gullwing Yuna Polyvore Set

After creating the Summoner Yuna outfit, I took on the challenge of her Gullwing attire. I tried to get the best skirt, since Yuna only has a half skirt and stayed with the color scheme of white, coral pink and blue.

Rainy Day outfit

I made this outfit because I want it to rain, not snow. I saw that Modcloth made a dress called rainy day and went from there. I tried to stay in the 30 to 40 dollar range and went with items that I could afford.
Full set here:  http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=71996394
I hope you like it.
What do you wear on rainy days?

Polyvore Set- Kdrama Addict

This was inspired by my favorite Kdramas and recent discoveries. The outfit is from Queen Inhyun's Man. The Pig Rabbit and earrings are from You're Beautiful. The shoes are inspired by Gil Da Ran's shoes in KBS's BIG. The bag was similar to one in My Girl and Goong S. The hair band is similar to one in My Princess. I also used a template with the theme of Spring.

Anastasia outfit

It was originally for a different character (not Belle by the way), but then I found a blue dress that reminded me of Anya, so I went with it :)
