Writing Prompt 61: Favorite scents and smells

Prompt: My ten favorite scents or smells

1. Roses- they remind me of my grandmother, and of course Beauty and the Beast.
2. Rain- the smell of rain always inspires me for some reason.
3. Chocolate- this one is obvious.
4. Chai tea- another obvious one.
5. Cherry Blossoms- subtle yet perfect.
6. Freshly baked cookies- thanks to College, this smell always makes me smile.
7. Pine trees- reminds me of hiking and camping in the mountains.
8. Spear mint- I blame the CSAP.
9. Lavender- a calming scent.
10. Oranges- This is probably influenced by Fruits Basket, but it always makes me happy.

What are your ten favorite scents?

What to expect when your house is for sale

Patience- it is a virtue after all
Chaos- from new updates to odd schedules
Cleanliness- a clean house is a marketable house
Dedication- this is a project you can't back down from
Shopping- Mostly for decorations and furniture to make the house look better
Phone Calls- Your house is no longer your home- people will be visiting without you in it
People- they come with the phone calls
Getting kicked out- Hopefully with enough notice beforehand you will be away for at least two hours going who knows where at who knows what time until you believe the people have left
Road trips to anywhere- from the grocery store to the parking lot
Realtors- I hope you don't have that irrational fear like Aunt Josephine
Criticism- Luckily if you have been through workshops or reviews at school you will already know how to take some of it with a grain of salt
Hope- lots of it

Writing Prompt 40: Ten things I'm proud of

Prompt: 10 things I've done or said that I'm proud of.

This is a tough prompt for me. Mainly because I don't believe I have done enough things or said enough things to make the list.
Well, let's see.

1. The Disney College Program: Hands down, one of the best decisions of my life and it will always remain an important lesson in living on my own.

2. Finishing FFX2 at 100 percent. Many of my friends know how determined I was to complete this game. I must say that when I did, even I patted myself on the back. So many complicated mini games and tricks @_@

3. Graduating College: An academic accomplishment, and a well earned piece of paper.

4. Writing a complete movie script. Despite all the other stresses and complications going on both personal and academic, I conquered each assignment.

5. Applying to the ABC/ Disney program. Something I have wanted to do for a while now.

6. Applying to teach English in South Korea. I have been wanting to go there since I started watching Korean Drama and read Goong. I would love to learn the language and I'm teaching myself through apps and a small program right now.

7.

8.

9.

10.

I made it to six. As far as things that I have accomplished on my own, I don't have many actions or words that stick out in my mind. I'm leaving these numbers blank for the future. Maybe I can add them soon, when I've done things that I feel are a big accomplishment. Hopefully I can add to this list soon, but I will be thinking of accomplishments I could make from now on to add here.

Every now and then . . .

Every now and then . . .

I take a walk in my backyard
I burst into song
I write a poem
I choose a random book from Barnes & Noble and read it
I cry in the movie theater
I say something funny
I eat something cold during winter
I have hot tea in the summer
I wear my favorite outfit
I try a different craft like painting or jewelry making
I go through my old notebooks
I take a risk
I don't clean my room
I watch A Walk to Remember
I take a picture
I put a song on repeat
I listen to my music without skipping songs, even when I want to
I challenge myself
I trip or fall
I don't get back up
I run away
I write a diary entry
I get a new hairstyle
I take a late night trip to WalMart
I bring a keepsake
I lose a friend
I put my guard down
I try something new
I eat dessert for dinner
I take a personal day
I do a puzzle
I cook a new dish
I pick a random picture and write about it
I read a children's book
I watch the stars
I learn a new language
I accept reality
I create a new goal
