Always different
Never identical
Yet from a distance
They all look the same
Each falling
Or floating
To create a blanket of white
Or a shadow of grey
Maybe they're dancing
Each going their own pace
Through their own journey
Creating beauty in their fall
A soft quiet sound
Muffled in the masses
Some hit the ground
Others land on a tree branch
Some evaporate
Others melt
Yet none are the same
Different shapes
Patterns
And yet
Every snow flake
Must fall
